서울 · East Austin
Seoul Bathhouse is Austin's first Korean jjimjilbang. Tonight we're opening a small number of founding spots to people in this room.
What is Seoul Bathhouse
In Korea, the bathhouse is part of everyday life. A place to scrub off the week, sit in the heat, slow down, and simply be around other people without needing to perform.
Seoul Bathhouse is bringing that feeling to Holly. A modern Korean bathhouse rooted in ritual, connection, and culture featuring Korean body scrubs, skincare treatments, contrast therapy.

Claim founding spotI grew up in Seoul where I went to the bathhouse with family and friends after school, after work, and on weekends. It was where people slowed down and connected.Jacoby · Founder, Seoul Bathhouse
After a health scare related to my cleft palate, along with a layoff and breakup, I started building community in Austin through cold plunges and social connection. Over time, I realized I wanted to create a permanent home for that community by sharing the culture I grew up with.
So we're building Seoul.

What is a jjimjilbang?
A Korean communal bathhouse. Jjimjilbang translates to a heated room for bathing. You soak, scrub, sweat, and rest. It's been part of everyday Korean life for generations. Seoul Bathhouse is the first in Austin.
What is a ddae scrub?
The Korean body scrub. A trained practitioner scrubs your skin with an Italian cloth to remove dead skin buildup. It's been done in Korean bathhouses for generations. We're bringing it here with practitioners trained the right way.
